Kelletteworks Newsletter
a monthly newsletter that will let you know about my upcoming exhibits, workshops, collage meet-ups and more!
Hi!! I am Kellette Elliott. I am based in Clackamas, Oregon—right outside of Portland. I have been an art educator in public school classrooms, art studios and online for 20+ years. I am so passionate about sharing my love of art with others!
Almost 8 years ago I discovered my voice in art through analog collage. I tell stories through my work about my childhood, my pain journey, and my present life. My work is considered minimal. I feel like I can tell my story though a few images cut and pasted together. I have also developed a love for image transfers. A way to layer up my minimalist collagists and create even more depth in my work.
As a result of my love for collage, 5 years ago I started the Pacific Northwest Collage Collective with my friend Laura Weiler. The goal was to create a community of collagists in the PNW to create meet-ups, open calls, growth opportunities and friendship. Laura moved back to her home state of Michigan a few years ago, and now I run it with the incredible Kirk Read. Below I will mention PNWCC events as well as my personal ones. Every PNWCC event is always free to attend and participate.
If you are interested in following along to learn about my upcoming events, this will be the best place to learn about what’s going on!
Workshops, meet-ups, art exhibitions and more!
